Cape of Good Hope - 1893 2d Bistre overprinted "One Penny" - 2 singles as follows:-
 - 2d Deep Bistre with stop after "One Penny" - contains original gum but with hinge remains
 - 2d Pale Bistre - stop after "One Penny" omitted - fine used with interesting postmark
After careful consideration we have concluded that the postmark is Dohne (near Stutterheim), unfortunately the date is mostly illegible. Dohne Toll Station post office from 1878-1893 became Dohne post office and telegraph office in 1893 to Union.
